I think everybody’s idea of spring break includes a good bit of fun in the sun; and what better way to get that than on a boat? You get a bunch of your good friends together, pack a cooler full of your favorite beverages and snacks, hop on board, and that’s when the magic happens!
With spring break on a boat, there are so many options and so little time! You can get a few boats together, tie off and have a party of epic proportions; you can head on out to Disappearing Island where you can play raucous games of corn hole, dig your toes in the sand and toast to what’s to come; or you can boat hop from seaside bar to bar (with a designated captain, of course).
A boating spring break offers all kinds of benefits. Maybe you were thinking of jetting off to an island, but the thought of the cost of plane fare, hotels and more sent you straight into a tailspin. Spring break by boat is an excellent way to enjoy just as much or more fun, while not obliterating your college budget.
Even if you’re not into the whole party scene and you just need a well-deserved respite from everything, taking a little time on the boat can be extremely therapeutic. Why not do some fishing? Florida’s Indian River Lagoon offers one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. The wildlife and scenery there will blow your mind and you can clean up on some very tasty fish too! Or take your college sweetheart on a spring break boating excursion. Boating can be very romantic.
